Please accept my sincere condolences on the tragic, untimely loss of
your precious Patch. Each and every loss on this List is felt so
personally. Believe me, we all grieve so much for you and your wife in
this terrible loss. He was so young and he had a right to live a long
and happy life. Thank goodness he had you and your wife and was loved
and cared for even if for such a short time. I believe Patch is another
'shining new angel.' I hope the following helps ease your grief a
little.

just barely moving the leaves
on that tree over there?

close.....but somehow not.....
The sound,
more felt than heard
when you walk barefoot
thru soft grass in summer?
No......
This was even more wonderful
than those
yet, sad too........
as it will never be heard
again......this way
The sound of a shining new angel
taking flight ........
