Thanks Jean!  We're DEFINITELY not anywhere near about to give up on Ping.  I
still think if it was FIP he would have shown signs when he was at his worst,
not when he was doing so well.  Hopefully (praying really hard) this is not
that or a lymphoma...

Once again, I'll speak up because I haven't seen Pamela on the list for a
few days...

Sounds very much like KitKat last year.  He had fluid on his lungs which
was removed and he live happily and comfortably a long time (many months,
at least) before it suddenly built back up and eventually he died.  If
Pamela sees your notes, she can elaborate fully.  I know that my vet
thought the fluid looked suspiciously like FIP fluid, but he tested
negative for that, only positive for FeLV.

So don't give up just yet!
