I get the seeds and grow it for my cats.  They are oat seeds, I believe.
They germinate in about 3 days.  I order the seeds online from Cat Claws,
Inc.  The bag is $4.95 but lasts a long time.

yeah, you can get it in a pet store.. I've seen it called "cosmic kitty cat
grass" which you grow yourself from the seeds, but my pet store (Pet
Valu)has it already grown.. it lasts about a month then you need to buy
fresh!
