Wow, thanks Belinda!!!!!  That poses a problem - Samantha has a new food bowl
that I picked up for her a couple weeks ago - it's actually ceramic.  (Really
cute too - Has Garfield on it).  Someone told me that it could also be caused
by bacteria.  We wash the bowl with mild dish detergent before we feed her  -
I'm guessing that maybe it needs to be disinfected too?  (Don't have a clue
as to what we could use to do that - really need a dishwasher!)  She's never
seemed to have a problem before, and of course, this would happen to be her
favorite bowl now (the shape makes it really easy for her to get every crumb
of her nutro canned food).  She's a very picky cat and she's actually given
me dirty looks and won't eat all her food when I use a different bowl other
than "HER bowl" to feed her.  Sigh, she's definitely a princess!  Any
suggestions?

Thanks!

Yes they can and it's usually allergy related.  My Teenye got
them until I switched from plastic food and water dishes to glass, then
they cleared up and never came back.
