Scott: I am just checking my e-mail since Friday, and am so glad to see your name, but sorry about Leia's condition. Both of my kitties were anemic, and both ate kitty litter and licked cement/bricks. This is definitely a sign of severe anemia. I had to take away the litter - don't use crystals either, as my last one ate that too. I had to shred newspaper, and even then she would lick the bottom of the pan. Litter can obstruct their digestive system. I don't know that I would wait until tomorrow. I would call a good emergency vet that has experience with this & ask their opinion. Has your vet been regularly checking Leia's blood count? (I don't know the technical term). I had Miss Gussie's checked every couple days. The last thing they tried was Epogen injections.
