I went to see Lucy last night. She is totally not herself, but she was very happy to see me. As soon as she heard me my aunt said she opened her eyes, perked her ears and turned her head towards the door. I got her to eat about 6 or 7 syringes of wet food mixed with water (at least 2cc's per syringe). I know that mixing 9 Lives canned with water isn't the best, but it got her to eat a little. Is there a better food to try and where do I get it? We're probably going to have to do the syringe feeding until she's got her strength back. I'm going to call and see if they need me to come over again tonight to feed her. I just don't think my mother is very good at it. She didn't put up a fight for me. Just let me shoot it in her mouth and licked her chops after every syringe. If there is no improvement she'll go back to the vet tomorrow and have blood tests - - and I have insisted that felv be one of them. Thank you for all the thoughts & prayers - - they're working.
