Carla,
My kittens tested negative in May and then positive in January, so the vets
say they had to get it from their mom. They were at the vets or indoors
with me after being rescued.

Subject: kittens being positive
Can a cat have kittens be tested negative than her kittens turn up
positive? We have a mom cat in the group she had kittens. One of
the kittens were sick ended up being felv positive tested all kittens
all are positive now. They haven't retested the mom yet but could
the male just passed just a felv gene on to the off spring. Or was
the mom infected and it was to early to detect yet?
Opinions or answers?
