Welcome to the group. You will find alot of helpful info here. Funny
one of Charmed's brother TC (who is not positive for anything but
big) is like your Jake. TC wouldn't hurt a fly maybe chase it but
he's not 26# he's 17 but he's still growing he's only a year old.
You may find some tips in keeping your cats more healthy and the
younger ones to live longer. All of us use interferon as long as they
are positive even if they show no signs of illness. Many of us use C
and other vitamins and supplements. You may want to use some
of these things along with a good brand of food. I really truely think
it's what keeps our cats going along with love that they receive from
us.

Hi everyone...
Just wanted to introduce myself and my little ones...I have three
FeLV+ cats and one HIV+ cat (who live in the penthouse, also known as
"Bubba's" room) and are just part of my cat family. I have Lulu (FeLV+) ...
I got her five years ago as a companion for Bubba, who, after 8 years,
passed on...Jake (FIV+), Toby (FeLV+, I have had him a little over a year)
and Freddie (FeLV+, his owner died and he just came 4 months ago)...I seem to
have better luck with the older ones...all of the FeLV+ cats who came as
kittens lived for only a year...Lulu was about a year old when I got her and
she is now 6 and none of them are showing any signs of being ill (knock on
something)...Jake is my biggest cat...he is built like a dog, weighs 26# (but
is NOT fat) and is as gentle as can be...I'm looking forward to sharing
stories and getting to know you and your little ones...
Sherrie
