Carla,
Watermelon?? That is funny! Do you tie a napkin around her neck so she
doesn't make a mess? :)

Does Bev have a diet that she recommends or does she just say to
supplement the present diet with raw? If she supports a raw diet, the
one I would choose would be the feline futures diet. Is this going to be
for Charmed only? If so, maybe for now just buy some organic chicken
legs and cut the meat into really tiny pieces and see if he will like
that (at room temperature - very important). Some cats aren't used to
the texture because they are used to the canned food which is of a
smooth consistency. Some cats are interested right away, others need
coaxing. I sprinkled F-Biotic on top of the raw which helped me
transition one of my cats. Some cats like fish flakes, or tuna juice, or
a bit of melted butter. Do you have dry food available for free feeding?
If so, you could slowly decrease the amount of dry you are giving, and
increase the canned to start with. Feline future has a diagram that has
helped alot of people transition their cats over. And please remember -
some cats can take awhile - and some cats just refuse. But it is worth a
try.

The only thing that I don't agree with on the above diagram and neither
do the Vets' I know, is the suggestion to withhold food for up to 72
hours. I wouldn't go past a day and a half if you choose to go that
route.

Other than that, for the moment, if you haven't already read it, another
good read is the site:
