Genie,

You must've missed it, so here goes!

A friend from work gave me a brown shopping bag full of fresh tomatoes that she grew in her garden.  They were mostly plum tomatoes, but one or two beefsteaks and a few cherry tomatoes.

We rolled the top of the bag down and pit it in the fruit basket one Saturday before bed.  Sunday morning when we got up, there were tomatoes all over the floor, all over the apartment.  The stinker had gotten the bag open, pulled it out of the fruit basket, got it on the floor, went into the bag and one by one took out the tomatoes.  He ate a hole in the sides of each tomato and "sucked" the guts out.  So we had half eaten tomatoes all over the place.  And he didn't get sick!

So I wrote to Anita about it (some of the list members will remember her - she had a FeLV+ named Smoochy who went to the Bridge a year and a half ago), and she thought it was the funniest thing she'd ever heard, and she called him the Tomato Vampire.  Well, Dan and I thought it was so funny, we just started calling him that.  So depending on what kind of mood he's in, he could be Count Sigula!

LOL
