I'm so sorry to hear this. We can only hope the vet is wrong and Laverne does get well. You're in my thoughts and prayers. I hope others on the list have advice that will help your baby.

The corona titer came out positive and the fluid the vet extracted from
Laverne's abdominal cavity is thick and straw-colored. The vet is 99%
certain that it is effusive FIP (the wet form of FIP) which causes the
buildup of fluid in either the abdominal or chest cavities. She offered
other tests, but even if they further confirmed the FIP, there is nothing
that could be done to save her. She gave her 2 days to 2 weeks to live.
