Denise,

I'm so sorry for your loss. You were privileged to have Laverne, even if
the time was short. Your sweet memories of her will live as long as you do.

Sharon

Subject: Laverne - to the bridge

To all my friends on the list,

Laverne crossed the bridge last night. Sometime between 10:00 p.m. when I
gave her last treat and kissed her goodnight and midnight when I woke up
suddenly with a strong urge to check on her. I rushed to her room and
there she was "peacefully sleeping", so I thought. But her body position
was odd, so I went to tuck her front leg back into position and it was then
I realized she was gone.

I buried her in the back yard this morning. My sons Anthony and Ryan said a
beautiful prayer for her.

She was the first of the litter to cross the bridge and is survived by her 3
brothers Carmine, Lenny and Squiggy, and her adoptive brother Zinnie and the
rest of my kitties who all loved her dearly.

I am thankful for the last three weeks I had with her since the vet first
diagnosed her with FIP. I wouldn't trade those precious days for anything
in the world and I'm glad I did not put her to sleep back then as the vet
advised. But now I okay with it, because God has called for her. Sleep
softly, my little Laverne.

        Denise
