Laverne was also "quite the flirt", so I'm sure such a handsome guy as Opal
would have caught her eye !!! I can just picture her now strutting her
stuff back and forth across the bridge trying to get his attention ! :-)

I'm sure Opal is looking out for Laverne, he was very outgoing and
social, plus a good big brother not only to his siblings Gris-Gris
and
Niblet, also at the bridge, but to my other cats/kittens, esp. the
younger/smaller ones. He was only about 15 months old himself, but
when
he was healthy, he was a good 10 lbs and long and tall, I have two
tiny
girls (7 lbs), both w/FELV, and Opal was very good with them.
Laverne
is in good paws.
