I am sorry too about your baby!  

I hate to sound like a broken record guys- but I'm saying it again since money is an 
issue in this case.  I paid $50 for a hemobartinella test for Andy and that was over 2 
years ago at a pretty cheap vet in Georgia.  I can't imagine what those price vets in 
places like NJ or CA would charge.  Point being, Andy DID test positive for it, but I 
didn't know until afterwards that he was kind of an exception to the rule.  It is very 
common to NOT show up on the test.  So you spend the money and if it's negative you 
still can't really rule it out.  Now the medicine that Glenda mentioned only cost me 
about $10 and cured him almost immediately.  I guess I mis-spoke there too b/c you 
don't "cure" Hemobart.  He hasn't had a flare up since that first time (knock on wood) 
but I always know it's lurking there.

I hope you find out what is wrong soon and can help your baby.
