Denise,
I am so sorry to hear about Squiggy. You really do have an amazing
young man there - this story brought tears to my eyes but also made me
realize how earnest kids can be in their requests. My thoughts are with
you today.

Carla,

My heart is so heavy. I know you, like many of us on the list,
understand
how I feel right now. I at work, but can't even think or function. I
would
have given my right arm to have been able to help Squiggy, to save
him.

Mark (my boyfriend), Anthony & Ryan (my sons) and I laid Squiggy to
rest
under the Mulberry tree in the backyard almost nose to nose with his
beloved
sister Laverne. Once again, I allowed Ryan to say the prayer. He
always
seems to find the right words ---amazing for an 11-year old, but he
always
seems to know what to say to make a horrible moment right. Ryan asked
God
to look over Squiggy and to keep him free from pain. He also asked God
to
'hurry up and tell' Laverne what happened so she can 'stop playing with
the
other kitties" in heaven for a minute to come greet Squiggy 'at the
bridge".
Yes, he really told God to HURRY UP !! I had to crack a smile at that
one
!!!

        Oh Denise,

I am so sorry as soon as I saw your subject I started to get
tears
in
my eyes before I even opened your post.

I know how difficult it has been for you the past few months.
After
losing Laverne I guess you are right Squiggy just missed her too

much. I just can't help feeling very sad with all Squiggy has
gone
        threw.

At least they are playing together free of all this sickness.

Please take care and I am so sorry for your loss.

        With My Depest Sympathy,

        Carla

        To all,

Squiggy decided it was time. He crossed the bridge Sunday
        evening. My
only consolation right now is knowing that his sister Laverne is

        already
there waiting for him. He always hated to be alone.
