I am so sorry that Buffy is gone.  She took a piece of your heart with her, and I completely understand about "going through the motions."  You gave her love, and she enriched your life; that you will always have.

Subject: Sweet Buffy gone

This morning Jeff called the vets and they said she made it through the night.  They were encouraged by this.  The vet called with the bad news around 11:45.  They had tried to feed her and she started throwing it up and was just to weak.

We brought her home and laid her to rest.

Thanks to everyone for your help and support while we went through this.

The excitement of moving and new furniture is gone and now we just do what we must.  If we had not already put deposits down on this house I don't think I would move.  The furniture and house will be a reminder of what we did.  I realize it's not all our fault for had we known things would have been done different.

I want all out there to be more forceful than we were.  If the first vet had done the blood work I asked for and started treating her for the Anemia she would of had a better chance.  He never tested to assure he was treating her problem and as the last vet found out he was not even after telling me he was with the broad band antibiotic.  We learned a lot and are having Cuddles retested in 90 days and she only has her second shot of the vacination to go.  If she does ever show possitive we know where not to take her.

Any one ever ask for a vet in Ocala the only Felv friendly one we found ( they are great and have had success ) is
