Chappy is responding pretty well to the IV therapy and actually has a minor
fever this morning; we find this slightly encouraging because at this point
we'd rather have an infection to target as opposed to the alternative which
is that he
has begun to waste. He still will not eat (I'm going to try to hand-feed
him later) and will spend the rest of today in the hospital. They are
testing again for Hemobartonella as I write this.
If he eats on his own or eats when I get there after work, then he can come
home tonight. I'm hoping for a miracle.
