Gee, the Littermaid is a great idea; I never even thought of it! Chip's
Dr. thinks it's IBD....it's really wouldn't worry me if they had good
immune systems but I worry about everything with these guys....and thanks
for the headbutts for Tommy!
He's my main-man (don't tell the others....or, hubby for that matter!)
When we weighed him, he had lost nearly a pound in the 2 weeks since he had
been in for a 'wound' to one ear; my stomach just dropped to my feet after
what I'd just gone thru with Chappy. When I learned it was diabetes I was
relieved because we have a fighting chance; he goes back in tomorrow night
to see how his blood sugar is doing. I think that 'wound' that I blamed on
Romeo was in fact self-inflected from scratching his itchy skin and it got
infected....in hindsight I see all the clues so clearly.....I was so
involved with Chappy that it just wasn't registering....

What a week you have had! Would it help if you got a litter maid, so the
poops would be scooped out of the box right away? They would still have
some
exposure to each others poop, but not as much. Do they know the source of
Chip's diarrhea? I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that this works out
for
you!!!

p.s...Sorry to hear about Tommy's diabetes, but I'm glad it's something
treatable at least. Give him some headbutts from my gang!
