Glenda, don't worry about answering my previous message about Smokey's stomatitis - I went to archives after I read Jill's post just now about Ida, wondering what that was all about, and found that although I got all the other messages in the thread about Julie's funny cat-catching experience, I didn't receive Jill's first message about Ida or your reply and the other related response (Julie's, I think). I think I'm leaning more towards extraction now - maybe give him another week or two on current therapy and see. I do have other kitties without teeth and know they do just fine, and feel sad that we weren't able to get messages through to Ida's caretakers - since she was a young cat, she would have surely been fine if her teeth had just been taken out.
