I am in north Dallas, so it was about a 25 minute drive for me. Oh, and I saw Dr. Alleman, but Dr. Hague is the one who owns the practice. I didn't meet her. I lived in Arlington for 3 years and never found a good vet that was close. I also use Dr. Messonier in Plano (Paws and Claws Animal Hospital). He is even further from you! He does conventional and holistic medicine, so he is pretty expensive. Another person on the List went to him and found him rather cold and abrasive, just to give you an unbiased view! Also, I am talking w/ Mastiff Rescue and the contact for DFW said she has also heard mixed reviews on him. I think I am going to just defer to him for my holistic consults. I liked him- no problems. He just didn't have the Felv specific expertise I was looking for. I think that the "cats only" vet was the way to go. It seems like there is one in Ft. Worth, which you may prefer. I know there is one other one in Dallas, but I didn't hear very good things about them. Hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any questions specifically a/b these vets.
