Carla,

So glad that Bamama is doing as well as she is. She sounds like a real
fighter. Keeping paws and fingers crossed!

Pam,

I agree you have to judge each cat like you said each case differs.
Some cats are ready. I think you also mentioned a key word "Go
with your Heart". Some one from another group said you make a
choice you can live with. Between those two, and knowledge you
have to try and asset what is best for you and your angel.

Luckily most of my pets have always let me know it's time or they
are ready, even though it killed me inside I did what I felt was in
their best interest.

Thanks for asking about Bamama she was eating pretty good there
after I gave her a pill to simulate the appetite and then I gave it to
her only on the weekends cos I was home (didn't want her to be
starving all day with no food). She only lost 1 oz in 2 weeks so that
was good. I dropped her off for I-131 treatment on Monday they
said she is doing good and eating (yeah) and I should have her
home I guess early next week without the thyroid problem.

She is a tough broad according to my vet. Yes, she is a perfect
example most people would have pts due to cancer, hyperthyroid,
full blown aid, 1/2 blind 12years old. She's in for radiation and
waiting for them to clear her with a safe level to come home and
less than a month she had her spleen removed and there was no
cancer found there or in the cyst on her liver.

She's the sweetest little ol girl and when she is ready it will really
be tough she was a feral that became my little guardian watchcat.
