Yes, Julie, I think there are various factors that trigger/cause it - maybe
some things working with others - the herpes plus diet, for example, but not
all with stomatitis have URI, not all have poor immune systems - that was
sort of what started my conversation with Tally - that some who have it have
a poor immune system, but in others it's an auto-immune thing
(plasmacytic-lymphocytic) with their own body attacking itself. I used to
worry about them all eating together and bacteria, but that can't be a real
problem as Smokey and Midnight (brothers) eat together and with many others,
and Smokey has stomatitis and Midnight doesn't. Go figure.
