Hi All,

Here's a good website that has a lot of info regarding colloidal silver
(it's history is very interesting; I remember as a kid some of the
immigrants in our town would gather wild mushrooms and they cooked them
with a silver coin; if the coin turned black, the mushrooms were not to be
eaten, so apparently this was an old-time way to determine if mushrooms
were bacteria-laden (or otherwise poison?)).

The website recommends adjusting the dose by body weight for animals and
this is what I have been told regarding almost all alternative medicines by
the herbalist I consult.

I use it myself when I feel a cold coming on, or sinusitis which I am prone
to (I think my sinus cavities are about the size of a fruit bat's from
repeated infection!) and I find it very beneficial.

Like anything, it can be toxic in very large doses and I think some of the
reports of graying skin (it will happen) are about people who have ignorned
the dosage guidlines and taken way too much and taken it for too long;
that's another thing about this supplement, I do not believe it is for
everyday use for extended (months) period of time.

I think, unfortunately, somethines the traditional medical community uses
incidents like Jenn reported seeing to really bash the world of alternative
medicine.

Anyhoo, here's the link:

I hope you find it helpful!
