I hope you don;t mind my two cents worth, but I try when possible to treat my
cats like my kids, of course my kids aren't gonna be spayed or neutered but
if they had surgery I would request pain meds. Same for my cat kids. I had a
rescue pup spayed a few weeks ago and the vet tech looked at me strange but I
did ask for pain meds. Not alot just enough for the first day or so. I
figured why not its not gonna hurt them. And I feel the ones I do give pain
meds too seem to recover quicker, or it may be my imagineation.
