LOL! That's amazing, she sounds like quite the little hunter! I'm sure SHE was very pround of herself, even if you didn't seem very impressed! My guys would LOVE to be able to catch birds, but if I had an opening big enough for a bird to get in, then my guys would get out. What color is your carpet under your bed? Hopefully there isn't any!
I have my own phobias as well. I am deathly scared of slugs. If I see a slug I will hyperventilate, whine, scream, moan, and get completely grossed out. In Arkansaw, we had a slug problem in our house we rented when we first moved in. They were coming up between the wall and the trim boards in our bathroom. I was in an absolute panic, I would go pee in the kitchen sink at night to avoid the slugs in the bathroom. I poured a circle of salt around my bed at night (looked like some weird kinda ritual, LOL) to keep them away. I finally poured several cans of salt down all the cracks in the wall/trim, and then got a ton of big stout nails, and pounded them all into the wall as hard as I could, then caulked over that, and scrubbed the whole bathroom with bleach. After that, I very rarely saw any slugs in the house, but I still shook out all my shoes before I put them on, and turned on every light in the house at night when I had to go pee. I HATE slugs!
