Hi All.
Does anyone know how much pedialyte to give a cat?  I dropped off a couple packages to the pet adoption league - - shelter/group where I got my dog sunny - - and there is a kitty that I think really needs it.
While it's not broiling here in New Jersey the past couple of days, this kitty seems cold.  She appears healthy except for some sort of trauma that is upsetting her and making her not eat.
Ann, the lady caring for her, is trying everything she can - - chicken broth/soup (made fresh from boiling chicken), I got her the pedialyte, baby food - - and this little girl doesn't seem to want to eat on her own at all.  She was taken out of a pound situation and was spayed nearly a week ago.  Everyone feels its a stress thing and they're worried.  She is a little love!  Adorable calico from what I could see around the pink blankets she is huddled under.  She noticed me, watched me, was alert while I talked to her.
They've been bombarded with sick kittens this season and really don't want to lose her.
I was wondering, how much pedialyte should I tell Ann to syringe into her?  how often?  is it OK for a few days at least, to give pedialyte INSTEAD of water?  Should she still give water and just add pedialyte?
I appreciate anything anyone can tell me.
RACHEL
