Thanks Pam.  I'm sure the fluid is at least part of it.  He's not breathing 
as heavy as he was however.  He just doesn't want to eat and is lethargic. I 
found an oncologist at Mizzou which is not very close but I was planning on 
taking him.  Unfortunately they can't get him in until next Monday (which is 
way too late) w/out a referral or request for consult from my vet who 
doesn't seem to think it's important to return my phone calls.  So I guess 
I'll have to find another vet here to get a referral there.  I talked to the 
tech at Mizzou today and she said the prognosis isn't good.  I just don't 
know where to turn.  I've been so busy at work today that I haven't had time 
to look for another vet - which of course I feel guilty about.  For some 
reason, my boss seems to think I should be working when I'm here :(
