Pam, One thanks for the prayers I think we are coming down to the end unless something short of a miracle. She fights so hard you know it's just not fair. Seems these felv and fiv cats are fighters to the end.
Second, one of the vets at the practice I use said he always has success with surgery. My other vet wasn't too keen on it and said usually down the road it comes back (the problem) or it goes to the other side. And recently the Dr that had luck in surgery had to send the cat for radiation (the same place I went) and the cat is now hypo-throid. I think the place I went may be giving too much that is the key. If I had it over I would have went to Radio cat which was in CT and I am in NJ they are located around. I few people on hyper-t group have used them and had good luck. I think it's cos they are a chain and have done it for a while. I think it's almost a no win situation sometime there are sides on all three choices, pill, radiation, and surgery. Holisticlly has not been to successful either from what I read. But my new homepathic vet said she wishes I saw her before all the damage. (yeah they all say that you know, but she is very nice) She would kill me if she knew I have gone with epogen but with her choice she gave me some things to build her up. Her cure could either give her more time, cure her or kill her the next day so I have opted not to try that I think I would feel too quilty to do that and Bamama is just fighting right now so. Let me know who you do. I have not gone on the hyper-t list since not too many cats are hypo. so I have not gone on. But you should go and get some opinions then make up your own mind.
