Hi Judy!! Thanks for the info! yes, Teddy is young, so I am still considering what to do. The vet will get back to me today with results on her thyroid blood test we had done on Saturday. THen we'll see... probably won't do anything till after Christmas. I have not priced the treatment here in Canada yet, but somehow I think it'll be less. then again you never know. I'll find out and post it in case anyone is interested. Nice to know there could be options on pricing for you guys south of the border.

Sue,
I forgot to mention that Buffy was not positive for anything. His immune
system was normal. His heart rate was very high and his blood work showed
an abnormal liver function, but both of those conditions were caused by his
hyperthyroidism. But I did have a body scan done to make sure all of his
organs were normal before the treatments. All they found was a gall stone
which they said was very rare in a cat.
Judy
