Hi Everyone,
I was thrilled when I found out! He came though with
flying colors! What a relief. The surgery to drain
the hematoma went well and he is home, but not himself
at all. I finally took the e-collar off yesterday and
he ate; he was totally miserable in it and couldn't
manage to eat even after I made him a little 'cut out'
so he could dip his mouth into the dish. I have given
him half a tablet of Orudis since he began to eat
because I believe he is in pain. Those of you in
Canada can still buy this, I think. It is no longer
available in the US, but I grabbed the last two
bottles on the shelf about 6 months ago and it's one
of the few things safe to use for pain in cats.
