Just wanted to say, I used Underpads (that I got at the grocery store) for my sweet kitty for maybe a couple of months, and they worked really well. He couldn't move around a lot, he's drag himself or hobble from one "pad" in front of the heater to another pad a foot or so away in front of the food and water. It was more odor free than the cat box, and I changed them 2 or 3 times a day.

I bought a xtra large size, and cut them in two, and placed the pad over his padded kitty beds/pads. Cheaper than puppy pads. Worked really well for him, and easy to scoop up and toss in a plastic bag and into a closed trash can.
