Belinda,
Sweety, could you please add a 4-6 month calico stray
to next week's list?
I had seen her yesterday, but had hoped that the
owners would come and claim her. No such luck.
Today while I was coming home from college I collected
her in a brown paper bag (more biodegradable
than a black plastic trash bag) and had her buried in
my side yard, next to the "Black & White" stary.
I could not see any damage done to the poor soul. Her
bones were not broken and she was completely intact.
No sign of a "hit-and-run." Apparently, she just
curled up on the pavement and died. My guess is that
she froze to death. It has been SO unusually cold
here. May she finally find peace.
Thanks,
Lora
