Hi, I am with 2nd Chance Rescue in the San Francisco Bay area. when I receive a phone call about a cat "Marking" the first thing I tell people to keep a log for about a month. Some times it is a guest in the home or a neighbor cat in the yard that triggers it. 9 times out of ten this is the reason for the "Marking"... With a guest put the cat in a room until the quest leaves. Neighbor cat in yard...do what you can to keep cat out of your yard
