I am a veterinarian in Louisville. I feed the stray cats in my neighborhood and spay/neuter, place in homes as many as possible. I have an FeLV + young adult male who is otherwise healthy that I need to find a home for. We have had him a few weeks and he is very affectionate, but he is being confined to a cage since I have blood donor cats that have free roam of my clinic. I have 14 cats at home and cannot take him. I have already placed 3 such cats in the last year and have tapped out my placement resources. Hank is a 13# black and white DSH. He is a big, heavily muscled cat. He loves attention and is a "talker". He is not happy being kept in a cage, but we have limited time to allow him out of confinement. I am looking for someone who can take Hank and give him a good home or for leads to find such a home. I am willing to fly/drive him to anyone who would be kind to him and give him the space he needs to live in. Although I have not tested this theory, I think he will get along with other cats. He needs to have people or other creatures to interact with. Thanks in advance for any assistance. Deb Day -- Thomas K.
