Lisa,
I find Banfield has a lot of stupid vets.
I discovered this when they put in the new Banfield at the petsmart
near me I was interested in their low cost spay and neuter since I
trap and release. WRONG Thier pricing was outrageous.
But I stopped and talked to the vet's husband who knew nothing
about. He gave me a brochure and I feel over when I read the
article on felv. They said if you vaccinate against felv they
guarentee that the cat will not get felv so I started my little speal
and he said I could talk to his wife. So I did but I think she was in
shock that I knew as much as I did and kinda of tip toed around
this subject.
My main concern with this branch is that they are just a money
making branch and don't have the pet's interest at heart. I spoke
with her about my now departed cat Bamama and my opinion was
pretty much assured by her comments on what she said I should
do with her.
So it doesn't surprize me one bit that the Banfield vet at your
Petsmart said this just proves my point not all vets are alike and
hopefully not as dumb as these two.
