I am so sorry your husband is going through
this. My dad had these serious symptoms to, but it was diagnosed as
psorosis of the liver caused by an earlier blood transfusion which was infected
with hepatitis (sp?).
I hope this is not the case for your
husband. The vessels being tied off are probably the varicies veins (again
sp?). They tied dad's off while doing an endoscopy.

husband.

I needed
to type and get it off my chest...
My hubby was taken by Paramedics
yesterday due to diarhrea and vomiting blood out of both ends it looked like
tar and was clots. He been doing this since the night before. Was up and down
with him cleaning him up and cleaning the bedroom because it was all over the
place. He tried getting to the bathroom but his legs were buckeling under him.
I kept telling him he needs to go to emergency but he wouldnt listen finally a
decision was made. They have found so far he has some kind of liver damage.
Stomach full of blood they went in with a scope to tie off a few vessels but
couldnt get to the bottom of his stomach because of the blood. He is in
restraints because he was trying to pull the tubes out of his nose. Right now
he doesn't know me or anyone else. They finally sedated him so they can do the
extreme tests on him. I have slept maybe 4hrs since wednesday. I just found
out I have to have surgery next week on my left foot....thanks for reading
this had to vent some. Please keep him in your thoughts and
prayers...Thanks!! :(
