Joan, I'm glad you're fine, but being in an office (windows? what are they?) with no A/C is horrible. Hoping you get through the day OK, and get home to a power-filled weekend!
Carla, are you there? New Jersey seems to have sporadic problems.
My in-laws are spread all over New York; from Rochester, to Syracuse, to Albany, to Kingston, to Westchester; and they all lost power! It's a big state!
I'm about 120 miles NE of NYC in eastern Connecticut and the power went out for long enough to get all the digital stuff blinking and also shut down the air conditioner I had left on for the cats. We do have power.
Just amazing; hope everything goes smoothly. The spoilage of food and the possibility of lack of water are really scary in these hot temperatures.
