Hi everyone,
I am writing this with a very sad and heavy heart...for a cat I never even
knew alive. My fiance called me at work around 8 this evening and told me he
was walking up the road to pick up a cat he saw trying to crawl off the road..it
had just been hit....I told him he would probally have to shoot the kitty..he
didnt want to..said what if it belonged to someone...He called me back when
he gott the kitty and told me about his injuries..he ahd 2 broken legs..one
with bone sticking out...his jaw was broken and hanging and swollen..and he had
blood coming fromhis nose and mouth. I told hi he really needed to put the
kitty down..that it was probally suffering a great deal..I told hi that if he
didnt want to do it that way, I understood but otherwise we would have to call
the ER vet on call and wait for them..God only knows how long that would
take....he asked me if I thought it would be better to take the kitty back up to the
road and put him back...IO was like NOOOOO..there he will just suffer and
waste away slowly!.. he was gurgling when he breathed and was having troubles
breathing...other than that he seemed coherent, Bobby said he would even look up
to him and MEW every so often and only ever so softly.....he described the
kitty to me..I didnt reconize it....he was a DARK grey and white....Bobby finally
aggreed to put the kitty down....as it seemed to be the best for him....when
I got home at 10 pm I went out and helped him bury..Peaches...that is what I
am naming him..as we burried him under a peach tree....Please add Peaches to
the Candle Light Service....and pray for him that he understands what happened
to him and that we loved him very much, even for that short time....And pray
that IF he was owned by someone they forgive us for taking their baby and that
they find solace in God..and just KNOW what happened....thank you
