What a cute, sweet story. Thank you for sharing. I just know Freddie is happily chasing mice at the Bridge, as he waits for the day when you two are reunited.
Big hugs to you.......

Subject: Freddie goes to the Rainbow Bridge & Takes his secret with him...
First of all, thank you for those of you who sent your words of kindness and support on Freddie's passing...the hardest part of having a pet is saying goodbye... but I would like to share a mystery with you about Freddie (who was FeLV+) ...
My FeLV cats (three) and one FIV live in a bedroom by themselves and have a screendoor on their room so they don't feel so isolated. Jake (my FIV car who weighs 28# and is built like a dog) is the only one who can push the door open if it isn't latched...he is permitted to go in and out of the room because he gets along with everyone in the house--I have other healthy cats who live in the rest of the house...Jake is tested yearly for FeLV and vaccinated for it...but prefers to stay pretty much in that room. Anyway, I woke up one morning to find Freddie in the bathtub...along with several of my other cats...they were playing with a mouse (live)...Jake was in his room...Freddie weighed only 9# at his heaviest...he was always interested in whatever activity was going on out in the hall or in the bedroom or going past his doorway...How he got out of his room I have no idea. Jake was the only one capable of pushing open the door but he would always butt it with his head as he was on his way out...I'm sure Freddie was just beside himself when he saw someone carry a mouse into the bathroom (I'm sure they found it in the basement and carried it into the bathroom...I'm just grateful that it didn't end up in my bed)...but how Freddie ever ended up in the bathtub and outside his room is a mystery and he never explained how he managed to escape!! And Jake isn't talking either!!
Sleep well, my sweet Freddie...I love you...
