Hi everyone!

I doubt anybody remembers me. My name is Ally and I was a part of this list ... gosh, about 5 or 6 years ago now, in 1997 I think!

Back then, I knew NOTHING about veterinary care, let alone FeLV. I was owned by my first FeLV+ cat, The Great Catsby.

Now, I come back, thanks to inspiration from Catsby,  a licensed vet tech, a former vet student with about a semester's worth more credits go to before I can add DVM to the end of my name (but no, I am NOT going to become a doctor. I am stressed out enough as a tech!), and an animal rescue organization dedicated to Catsby called Catsby's Corner. I focus on small mammal rescue and adoption services (guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, etc ... because a small mammal rescue is few and far between), and just recently changed my policy and went back to what I had originally intended to do when I first decided to go into rescue: take in "unadoptable" cats - ones that are to be put to sleep due to health issues, age, behavioral issues, and of course, FeLV.

Don't ask me how many cats (or guinea pigs and rabbits, for that matter!) we have - you don't wanna know ;-) lol But I've got 8 FeLV+ cats that reside in their own room, which doubles as me and my husband's bedroom.

I think that's about it for the intro. Hope to get more involved this time around with the list! And I hope to see some familiar faces!

Ally
