Harmoni, I am so sorry about Peanut... I know how hard it must have been to let him go.

I'm sorry to say that we had to put Peanut to sleep. We gave him the prednisone last night it seemed to help a little bit but this morning my husband was woken up by crying. At first we both thought it was our son but it ended  up being Peanut. He was twitching all over the place and couldn't move. So we tried to comfort him as best we could, but he seemed to be suffering. So we had him put to sleep at 11:30am. The vet said he was so dehydrated that he could barely find a vein. We just though it was the right thing to do. Peanut wasn't himself anymore and hadn't been for awhile. I was sick of trying to force the poor cat to eat and having to hold him down to give him his medicine. Thank you everyone for all your help and support. Now Peanut is at peace.
