Dear all on this issue -- I am no expert, but I do know that our vet in Spain (we're dealing with three positive pussy-cats, all of whom are, thank God, so far showing no signs of ill-health) suggests keeping interferon (which they get one week in four) in the fridge, and taking it home just as quickly as we can when we it get it from her surgery (I usually take a cool box down, because southern Spain is warmish)
Don't know if this helps -- but this sharing of experiences is for me one of the great benefits of being in touch with you all on this list. Individually, none of us knows a great deal and feels awfully alone in this predicament, but collectively we have a lot of knowledge and a huge network of support and sympathy.
