Subject: Urgent!!  Chicago - Asymptomatic FeLV+ cat in need of home or shelter

We took in a cat that we discovered had FeLV when we had her spayed.
The facility that has her wanted to immediately euthanize her (Fri),
however we talked them into keeping her overnight in a separate
storage room to give us some time to try save her.  She is a good cat
and shows no symtpoms so we would take her except we already have 6
cats which we have adopted and are not FeLV+.  Our apartment doesn't
provide the facilities to be able to make sure we keep FeLV+/FeLV-
cats seperate.  So, now we really need help finding either a permanent
home or a temporary place while she waits for adoption.  We have not
yet found a place like this for FeLV+ cats, however we have heard they
exist (as well as people who already have one or more and need to
adopt FeLV+ cats as playmates).  Any help would be greatly appreciated
since we are rapidly running out of time.
