Yes, that's something a friend of mine has to do. Also, you could institute treat time after all clippings and/or clipping attempts so they would tolerate it better. I did that with Ninja and her pilling - she got meds twice a day and treats afterwards. When I went to prepare her meds, she sat by her treat dish and let me squirt the mixture in because she knew she was getting a treat right away.
