Jen, I'm so sorry about Pips. I know exactly how you feel since I lost Cosmo yesterday as well. His hematocrit was going down so quickly. I've seen several kittens go down this way. I was hoping to try transfusions or erythropoetin but it was too late. He was going down so quickly. I couldn't wait and let him get to labored breathing and all that because I know the end result. He was just too weak to put him through all that.
