Hi Amy! Thank you so much for your thoughts! I saw your message yesterday just after I got back from the vet's office and just couldn't get it together enough to respond...but I was comforted in knowing that someone out there knew exactly what I was feeling at that very moment...I'm so sorry that Cosmo had to go...but perhaps it was meant to be that he and Pips should go together... :)
The anemia-thing has really been a curse! I lost Pips' brother, Charlie, the same way...I let it go too long with Charlie, though. Pips was already starting to breath a little heavier, and I knew that it was only going to get worse...I wasn't about to let him go through what Charlie went through. I really thought Pips could beat this...he's always been such a trooper...it's just such a helpless feeling when you find out that they just can't make red blood cells anymore...you can treat just about anything, but you just can't make more red blood cells for them... :( Anyway, you and Cosmo are also in my thoughts!
