I absolutely would love to keep him but I have 4 non+ and am in apt... I'm pushing it with 4 & could not take a 5th. Also, even if I had a house, I just couldn't see to keeping him isolated in his own room. I took him from outside in late Jan & in all honesty wasn't sure if he could go to a home or wasn't even sure he could make it in a shelter. I didn't think he could be considered 'feral' (whatever that means!) as he was just too friendly outside. Anyway, I have been amazed at how well he's done and though I still don't try to pick him up, he absolutely loves human company & has discovered the 'finer' things in life (my bed, good food, warmth, the window sill over the radiator, toys, even my computer screen!) Its been a lucky break that I was in the midst of finishing up a project (I do some computer work at home) so I had to spend a lot of time in my bedroom & he was not alone. My other cats, however, are NOT happy as he has taken their spots in the room & I know they miss sleeping on my bed at night. Sooooo, I still have this dream of finding him a family nearby.... I know I can place him in GA but if I absoltely didn't have to travel that far, I'd love it!
