David,

I would recommend having a full blood panel done. Our Sesame (FELV+) had absent seizures, though I think they only lasted for a couple of minutes, not quite 5 minutes. I believe these occurred most often when his calcium or potassium levels were too low. I can't remember which one it was, but I'm leaning toward calcium (he had hypoparathyroidism and didn't regulate his calcium levels well). Blood work will immediately show if this is the problem, but you have to ask for the calcium test specifically as it's not part of a standard blood panel.

Hope this helps,

Hi,
Milo has been having some type of siezures the last three days were his body is
freezing up and he becomes out of then all of a sudden a few minutes maybe 5 he comes
through but noticably disoriented and weak. Does anyone know what this could be from?
He was diagnosed + 1 year ago but, we feel he may have been Felv + for three years or
so.
Any Ideas?
Thank You ,
David
