hi friends, i dont write much any more, but had to share this with you.
I rescued an old dog (12 years estimated) from the streets a month ago.
he has no teeth, was extremely thin, only 48 pounds, being a very big
dog, kind of doberman/ sheperd mix. he was VERY deppressed, and didnt
want to eat at all. he was abandoned in a square near my house and
walked around for 3 weeks before I found him. he couldnt even stand
still, just shaking all the time. I took him to a clinic were he was in
no good condition for 5 days, in a wire cage that was too small and
injured him on the leg in a very nasty way. Finally I found a better
clinic for a reasonable price where he has space and since he bothers no
one he is allowed to wonder around and take sunbaths on nice days. Today
for the first time in a month he waged his tail!!! I almost cried when I
saw him doing it. The leg is much better, and I will take him to my
mother in law's house on sunday. He will have a small patio and will
walk with her. I am so happy I found him, I am sure he would be dead if
we had not rescued him. We named him Max. So, one happy ending for a change.

Big hugs for all of you
