Hi All, 7/25/2004 - Buddies bloodwork is better, her white is at 35,000 (was 48,000), her kidney values have normalized, she still has a temperature 103.3, same as it has been. But her liver values are worse (they were normal) at 101, now 235 (I think, I know it was 2 hundred something) and the whites of her eyes have a hint of yellow. The vet feels the weakness is in part to not getting nutrition so I'm going to take her home and try to get her to eat, if not I will take her in in the morning for a feeding tube and keep avery close eye in her tonight.
7/26/2004 - Got about 7 ccs into Buddie yesterday and just made the call to the vet to schedule Buddie for the tube. Hopefully we'll get her in this morning. I'm very worried because of her weakened state and how hard the anesthesia is on her anyway, so lots of prayers that she is strong enough to make it through the surgery is needed. My vet said as long as she isn't any worse she thinks she'll be OK, so prayers will help I know. I'll post after we are done.
